Ice Baths & Fat Loss

Did you know that taking ice baths can help you lose weight?

Cold water exposure activates brown fat and muscles. This then releases hormones that burn white fat tissue to help you lose weight.

More brown fat = less body fat.

When we are first born, we are born with more brown fat. As we grow older, we aren’t as exposed to lower temperatures. Our instincts are to rug up when it’s cold and though we may turn the aircon up when it’s hot, we rarely see temperatures low enough to let our bodies do what they’re capable of.

So, by exposing yourself to the cold you can actually shed body fat!⚡️🥶
